“NOARK FULFILLS SCHOOLS’ DREAMS”

The organizer of the competition for secondary schools is NOARK Electric Europe s.r.o., ID 24123846, with its registered office in Prague 9, Sezemická 2757/2, ZIP code 193 00 (hereinafter also referred to as the “organizer” or “organizer”).

The organizer will run a competition called “NOARK FULFILLS SCHOOLS’ DREAMS IV” (hereinafter referred to as the “game” or “competition”).

What are we playing for?

Regional round

1st place – a gift of 50,000 CZK and a ticket to the EUROPEAN FINAL in Prague + 1,000 CZK ALZA.cz voucher for each team member (max. 6,000 CZK)

2nd place – 30,000 CZK in NOARK products + 1,000 CZK ALZA.cz voucher for each team member (max. 6,000 CZK)

3rd place - 15,000 CZK in NOARK products + 1,000 CZK ALZA.cz voucher for each team member (max. 6,000 CZK)

European final

1st place – a gift of 250,000 CZK for the winning school

Basic description of the competition:

The competition is open to secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The participant in the competition is a secondary school represented by a team consisting of a maximum of 6 selected students, one of whom is the team leader, and a teacher supervisor. Each high school can participate in the competition only once through a selected team of students.

The subject of the competition, or rather the competition project with which each participant will participate in the competition, is the functional application of products and goods provided by the organizer. Each participant can participate with only one project. The competition project must use at least 50% of NOARK products sent by the organizer in the competition package of products, which must be visible in the project.

The competition team representing the high school in the competition will shoot a video of a maximum of 240 seconds, which will contain a basic presentation of the project, its description and a demonstration of functionality. The video will be sent to the e-mail [email protected] no later than December 15, 2024. The video may not be published on any other portal, social network or website during the competition without the consent of the organizer. Participants are entitled to link to the video placed on the organizer's website through social networks, portals or other websites.

The submitted videos will be published on the organizer's website www.noark-schools.com, where the public - website visitors - will vote. Voting takes place by clicking on the "VOTE" field next to an individual video. Each website visitor can vote once a day for one video from one IP address.

The 5 teams whose videos receive the most votes will advance to the final round. In the final round, the winning videos will be evaluated by a jury of three Noark employees. They will evaluate the videos based on:

Creativity of the solution
Visibility of the products
The recorded video
Project description
The jury will select 3 winning videos that best meet the evaluation criteria.

The national winner will be announced on the competition page, social networks and the website www.noark-electric.cz on 31. 1. 2025.

The winning team also advances to the European round, which will take place in Prague, and in which it will compete with the winning teams from other countries where the national round of the competition took place. The overall winner will be announced at the gala evening. The costs of transportation and accommodation are covered by Noark Electric Europe s.r.o.

    Terms of participation in the game and prize handover:

Only high schools represented by a team consisting of a maximum of 6 selected students, one of whom is the team leader, that properly register and receive a competition package from NOARK can participate. The number of competition packages in the game is limited to 34 pieces and will be provided to registered participants gradually according to the date of registration. After the number of competition packages is exhausted, no further participants in the competition will be accepted. Only one selected team from each high school can participate.

The selected team is tasked with creating any functional application from the received competition package. The functional application must contain at least 50% of the components received as part of the competition package. The NOARK elements used must be visible in the application.

Each team will then create a short video of no more than 240 seconds, which will contain basic information about the application, its description, demonstration of its functions and features. The videos must also comply with all rules for publishing videos on the Facebook social network. More information about the rules for published content is available on the Facebook website.

The videos will be published on the organizer's website, where the public - website visitors - will vote. The voter can send one vote for one competition video per day during the competition. It is prohibited to use and publish links to voting on such pages of registered groups on social networks where there is buying or offering votes without the real participation of individuals, or to use robots, fake accounts or other methods for voting that do not involve fair voting by individuals. After the competition, videos and links to videos can be published on other social network pages without restrictions.

Votes made in violation of these rules will not be counted in the game.

Teams will be excluded from participation in the game if:

The submitted competition project does not meet the conditions for participation in the competition (number of components, their visibility),
The submitted competition video does not comply with the competition requirements and rules or violates some rules for publication on social networks,
It is determined that the participant's votes were obtained in an unauthorized or prohibited manner,
The participant, or a third party on his behalf, published a request for votes in prohibited groups on social networks,
There has been another fundamental violation of these rules.
People who are in a working or similar relationship with the organizer or organizer of the game, or people close to these people (provisions of Section 22 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended) or people directly or indirectly cooperating with the game are also excluded from participation in the game.

The organizer/organizer will ensure the handover and collection of the prize without undue delay after the conditions for winning the prize have been met. The prize, together with the winning team, may be collected by the school principal, his/her deputy or a class teacher with a written authorization - approval of the school principal or his/her deputy. The winner is not obliged to accept the prize. The prizes are not exchangeable. If the winner does not collect the prize within the period set by the organizer and the organizer, but no later than 30 days after the announcement of the competition results, the possibility of collecting the prize expires.

Announcement of the promise of the prize (prize) and the rules of the game

The rules of the game enter into force and the promise of the prize is publicly announced on the day of their publication on the website www.noark-school.com. Participants are familiar with the rules and, by participating in the game, express their will to be bound by them.

In the event of a monetary prize, the prize will be provided to the participant in the competition, i.e. directly to the high school, on the basis of a donation contract. If the participant refuses to sign or conclude a donation contract, the prize will be forfeited. It is not possible to provide the prize in the form of a financial amount to a specific individual or a specific team.

In the case of a prize in the form of vouchers, the representative of the winning team will receive vouchers of the stated value. NOARK will ensure the delivery of the selected vouchers within 30 days of the announcement of the competition result. Vouchers may not be used to purchase items such as drugs, alcohol, weapons, things or experiences that may cause injury or are otherwise dangerous.

Authorization of the organizer and promoter

The organizer and promoter has the right to decide on all issues related to the game at its own discretion, its decision is final and binding. The organizer reserves the right to revoke the promise of a reward (prize) in the game at any time before the performance, i.e. at any time before the conditions for winning are met, i.e. to cancel the competition, even without giving a reason. The revocation of the promise will be made in the same way and in the same form in which the promise was made. If the condition for winning the prize is the best possible performance, the organizer is entitled to revoke the promise only for serious reasons; in such a case, the organizer is obliged to adequately compensate the person who fulfilled the conditions of the promise at least in part before the revocation. The game is in the nature of a promise of reward within the meaning of Section 2884 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, and is governed by its legal provisions.

GDPR

By participating in the game, participants agree that in the event of a win, the organizer and organizer of the game have the right to use personal data, image and audio recordings relating to the participants, their representatives, or specific students or their expressions of a personal nature (photographs, writing, video, voice, etc.) free of charge for advertising and marketing purposes without restriction. The participant is obliged to secure legal title for use also from all natural persons who will represent him within the competition, respectively. guarantees and declares to the organizer by participating in the competition that he/she has this legal title and that it is proper and valid.

The names of specific winners – natural persons – may be published in the media and on the Internet. The Organizer is entitled to use the details of the electronic contact provided by the participant to the Organizer for the purpose of distributing commercial communications by electronic means only in relation to the participant, with which the participant expresses his/her consent by providing the contact.

The organizer, as the administrator, will process the personal data of the participants in accordance with these game rules, for the purpose of handing over the prize, resolving issues related to participation in the competition and fulfilling the contractual relationship between the organizer and the participant in the game, which arises from the participant's participation in the game. In this case, it is the processing of personal data that does not require consent, the legal basis of which is Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of the GDPR Regulation. The organizer will process the personal data of the participants to the extent necessary for the implementation of the game, for a maximum period of 10 years from the announcement of the winner of the competition. The organizer will also process the personal data of the winner(s) for marketing purposes consisting in promoting the organizer, its products and/or services and the games organized by it in the form of taking portraits and other personal expressions of the participants, audio, video and/or audio-visual recordings of the winner(s) and publishing them in the organizer's advertising materials, for a maximum period of 10 years from the last day of the game period. The organizer will process the personal data of the game participants both itself and, in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR, it will entrust a third party – the game organizer. If the conditions and prerequisites set out in the GDPR are met, the game participants, as data subjects, have the following rights in accordance with the processing of their personal data: (i) the right to free information about what personal data the organizer processes; (ii) the right to correct incorrect processed personal data; (iii) the right to delete processed personal data; (iv) the right to restrict the processing of personal data; (v) the right to the portability of personal data. The game participants are entitled to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
