„NOARK FULFILL YOUR DREAMS”

The organizer of the competition for secondary schools is NOARK Electric Europe s.r.o., Company ID: 24123846, with its registered office at Praha 9, Harfa Office Park, Českomoravská 2420/15a (hereinafter also referred to as the “Organizer” or “Promoter”).

The Organizer will hold a competition titled “NOARK MAKES SCHOOLS’ DREAMS COME TRUE V” (hereinafter referred to as the “Game” or “Competition”) during the period from 15 September 2025 to 30 April 2026.

What are the prizes?

Regional round

  1. 1st place – a cash prize of 2 000 EUR  and qualification for the EUROPEAN FINAL in Prague + a team prize of 600 EUR in Alza vouchers
  2. 2nd place – Noark products worth 1 200 EUR + a team prize of 600 EUR in Alza vouchers
  3. 3rd place – Noark products worth 600 EUR + a team prize of 600 EUR in Alza vouchers

European Final

  1. 1st place – a cash prize of 8 000 EUR for the winning school + Noark products worth 2 000 EUR.

Basic Description of the Competition

The competition is announced for secondary schools within the territory of the Czech Republic.

The participant in the competition is a secondary school represented by a team consisting of up to 6 selected students, one of whom is the team leader, and a teacher supervisor.

Each school may participate only once through one selected student team.

The subject of the competition, i.e. the competition project, with which each participant will enter the competition, is to create a functional application using components provided by the Organizer, based on one of the assigned topics.

Each team chooses one topic only and may submit one project only.

Competition Topics:

  1. Management of Energy Production and Consumption
  2. Energy Storage and Grid Stability
  3. Recycling and Waste Processing

A video of the project together with a list of used products must be sent by 31 January 2026 at the latest to the e-mail address: [email protected].

The video must not be published anywhere else (websites, social networks, portals) without the Organizer’s prior consent during the competition period.

Participants may, however, share links to the video hosted on the Organizer’s website through social networks, portals, or other web pages.

All submitted videos will be published on the Organizer’s website www.noark-schools.com , where public voting will take place. Voting will be conducted by clicking on the “VOTE” button next to each video. Each visitor may vote once per day per video from one IP address. The 5 teams whose videos receive the highest number of votes will advance to the final round. In the final round, the winning videos will be evaluated by a jury consisting of three Noark employees.

Each project may receive a maximum of 70 points.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Creativity and originality of the solution (0–10 points)
  • Technical feasibility and functionality of the project – real-life applicability, correct implementation, and safety (0–10 points)
  • Compliance with the selected topic (0–10 points)
  • Integration and visibility of Noark products – at least 60% of the provided products must be used (0–10 points)
  • Fulfillment of video creation requirements (0–10 points):
    • Maximum video length: 240 seconds
    • Sound quality
    • Image quality
  • Project presentation (0–20 points):
    • Content quality (0–10 points):
    • Introduction of the school and the competition team
    • Presentation of the project, its description, and demonstration of functionality

The jury will select the winning video that best meets the above evaluation criteria.

Winners will be announced on 6 March 2026 on the competition website, social networks, and the official website www.noark-electric.cz.

The winning team will also advance to the European Final, which will take place in Prague in 30 Mar - 1 April 2026.

During a gala evening, the overall European winner will be announced.

The competition is organized by NOARK Electric Europe s.r.o., Company ID: 24123846, with its registered office at Praha 9, Harfa Office Park, Českomoravská 2420/15a File No.: C 181277, maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague. The Organizer is also the provider of prizes.

Competition Timeline

  • 15 Sep – 17 Oct 2025 → Registration period
  • 20 Oct – 31 Oct 2025 → Distribution of competition kits
  • 1 Nov 2025 – 31 Jan 2026 → Project development period
  • 31 Jan 2026 → Deadline for project submission
  • 1 Feb – 28 Feb 2026 → Public voting for the top 5 projects
  • 6 Mar 2026 → Announcement of regional winners
  • 30 Mar - 1 April 2026 → European Final in Prague

Participation Condiitons and Prize Delivery:

Only secondary schools represented by a team consisting of 6 selected students, one of whom will act as the team leader, may participate in the competition, provided that they register properly and receive a competition kit from NOARK.

The number of competition kits is limited to 35 units and they will be distributed to registered participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all competition kits have been allocated, no additional participants will be accepted. Each secondary school may participate in the competition with only one selected team.

The selected team is tasked with creating a functional application using the components from the received competition kit according to the chosen topic. The functional application must include at least 60% of the components provided in the competition kit. NOARK elements must be visibly integrated into the application.

Each team must then create a short video with a maximum duration of 240 seconds, which must include basic information about the application, its description, and a demonstration of its functionality and features.

The videos will be published on the Organizer’s website, where public voting by site visitors will take place. During the competition, each voter may submit one vote per competition video per day.

It is strictly prohibited to use or share voting links on registered social network groups or websites where vote trading or incentivized voting takes place without genuine participation of real individuals. It is also forbidden to use robots, fake accounts, or any other methods that do not involve fair voting by real individuals.

On other social network pages, after the end of the competition, participants may freely share the videos and links without any restrictions.

Votes obtained in violation of these rules will not be counted in the competition.

Disqualification

Teams will be exluded from the competiton if:

a) Their submitted project does not meet the participation requirements (component usage, visibility, etc.)

b) Their video does not comply with the rules or video specifications

c) Their votes are obtained illegally

d) They solicit votes in prohibited groups

e) They commit any other serious violation of these rules.

Employees of the Organizer, individuals in a similar contractual relationship, and their close relatives (as defined in § 22 of the Czech Civil Code) are excluded from participation.

The Organizer shall, without undue delay, ensure the delivery and availability of the prize once the conditions for winning have been met.

The prize may be collected together with the winning team by the school principal, their authorized representative, or the class teacher with a written authorization approved by the school principal or their representative. The winner is not obliged to accept the prize. Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

If the winner does not collect the prize within the period specified by the Organizer, but no later than 30 days after the announcement of the competition results, the right to claim the prize expires.

Prize Announcement

The competition rules come into effect and the prize promise is publicly announced on the day of their publication on the website www.noark-school.com.Participants are considered to be familiar with these rules and, by participating in the competition, express their consent to be bound by them. In the case of a cash prize, the prize will be awarded to the competition participant, i.e. directly to the secondary school, on the basis of a donation agreement.

If the participant refuses to sign or conclude the donation agreement, the prize is forfeited.

The provision of a cash prize to a specific individual or specific team is not possible. In the case of a voucher prize, the representative of the winning team will receive vouchers in the specified value. NOARK will ensure the delivery of the selected vouchers within 30 days from the announcement of the competition results. The vouchers may not be used to purchase items such as drugs, alcohol, weapons, goods or experiences that may cause injury, or any other dangerous products.

Organizer´s Rights

The Organizer has the right to decide on all matters relating to the competition at its sole discretion, and its decisions are final and binding. The Organizer reserves the right, at any time prior to the performance, i.e. before the conditions for obtaining the prize have been fulfilled, to revoke the promise of a reward (prize) in the competition, i.e. to cancel the competition, even without providing a reason. The revocation of the promise shall be made in the same manner and form in which the original promise was announced. If the condition for obtaining the prize is the best possible performance, the Organizer is entitled to revoke the promise only for serious reasons; in such a case, the Organizer is obliged to provide appropriate compensation to anyone who, before the revocation, had at least partially fulfilled the conditions of the promise. The competition constitutes a promise of reward within the meaning of § 2884 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, and is governed by its legal provisions.

GDPR

By participating in the competition, participants agree that, in the event of winning, the Organizer has the right to use free of charge the personal data, image, and audio-visual recordings relating to the participants, their representatives, or individual students and their personal expressions (photographs, handwriting, videos, voice, etc.) for advertising and marketing purposes without any limitations. The participant is obliged to obtain the legal rights to use such data from all individuals who will represent them in the competition, and by entering the competition, the participant guarantees and declares to the Organizer that they hold such rights and that they are valid and lawful. The names of the specific winners – natural persons – may be published in the media and on the internet. The Organizer is entitled to use the contact details provided by the participant exclusively for the purpose of sending commercial communications via electronic means in relation to the competition, and by providing the contact details, the participant expressly consents to this. The Organizer, as the data controller, will process the personal data of participants in accordance with these competition rules for the purpose of prize delivery, handling matters related to participation, and fulfilling the contractual relationship between the Organizer and the participant established by their entry into the competition. In this case, the processing of personal data does not require consent; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The Organizer will process participants’ personal data to the extent necessary for the implementation of the competition and no longer than 10 years from the announcement of the competition winners. The personal data of the winner(s) will also be processed for marketing purposes, specifically to promote the Organizer, its products and/or services, and events it organizes. This includes the creation and use of photographs, personal expressions, audio, visual, and audio-visual recordings of the winner(s) and their publication in the Organizer’s promotional materials, for a period of up to 10 years from the final day of the competition. The Organizer may process personal data itself or, in compliance with GDPR, entrust a third party – the competition organizer – to process the data on its behalf. In accordance with GDPR, participants, as data subjects, have the following rights concerning the processing of their personal data:

  • Right to free information about which personal data is being processed.
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to restrict processing of personal data.
  • Right to data portability.

Participants are entitled to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz). Participants may exercise their rights by contacting the Organizer using the contact details provided above or via the e-mail address: [email protected]. Alternatively, they may contact the data protection officer appointed by the Organizer at the same e-mail address: [email protected].
